Syracuse right tackle Savion Washington has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, he announced on social media Monday. In his only year with the Orange, Washington started all 13 games.

Washington found a home in Syracuse for his redshirt junior season. Before joining the Orange, he played at Kent State for three years before transferring to Colorado for the 2023 season.

With the Buffaloes, Washington played 10 games with nine starts. For his final year of eligibility, he joined SU. He notched two ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors while protecting Kyle McCord and Syracuse’s backfield.

Washington was Syracuse’s highest-graded offensive lineman of 2024, according to Pro Football Focus. He notched a 69.8 overall grade with a 73.4 pass-blocking grade.

With his declaration for the draft, Washington becomes the eighth SU player to do so this cycle, joining Jackson Meeks, Fadil Diggs, LeQuint Allen Jr., Alijah Clark, Clarence Lewis, Oronde Gadsden II and Kyle McCord.
