Syracuse University has placed its chapter of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity on investigative status.

Phi Psi is being investigated for violations of the Code of Student Conduct, and the fraternity must cease all activities while under investigation, said Sarah Scalese, senior associate vice president for university communications, in a statement to The Daily Orange.

No further information is available as the investigation is ongoing, Scalese said.

Stand With Survivors SU, an organization that combats sexual misconduct and rape culture at the university, protested outside of Phi Psi in November, alleging multiple members of the fraternity had committed sexual assault.
