Former Syracuse football player Naesean Howard, who allegedly stabbed current Syracuse defensive backs Corey Winfield and Chauncey Scissum, has been bonded out of jail, according to the New York VINE service. It was first reported by Stephen Bailey of Syracuse.com.

His bond was set at $40,000 and Howard is due back in court by 10 a.m. on Friday. He was accused of stabbing Winfield and Scissum at a party on Saturday at 321 Slocum Drive around 6 p.m.

The police arrested Howard on the 1000 block of Ackerman Avenue, but the former football player lives at 450 Slocum Drive.

He allegedly stabbed Winfield in the right lower back, upper right chest, left abdomen and left wrist, according to court documents said. Howard then allegedly stabbed Scissum on the right side of his neck, right upper chest, left shoulder and bottom lip. A witness described Howard as being “very determined” and as having “tunnel vision” during the alleged stabbing.
