DPS is “deeply concerned” for Gonzalez’s safety and wellbeing, DPS Chief Bobby Maldonado said in a campus-wide email.

Allan Gonzalez, a Syracuse University student, has been reported missing, city and campus police announced Friday.

Gonzalez, a senior in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, was last seen Jan. 18 in the city of Syracuse and hasn’t been heard from since, DPS Chief Bobby Maldonado said in a campus-wide email. He lives off-campus.

The Syracuse Police Department is leading a missing person’s investigation into Gonzalez’s disappearance. Gonzalez, last seen at 1223 James St., may have taken an Uber to Al’s Whiskey & Wine Bar in downtown Syracuse’s Armory Square area, SPD Sgt. Matthew Malinowski said in a press release.

Gonzalez, 22, has black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, according to DPS. He’s 5’ 11” and weighs 175 pounds.

DPS is “deeply concerned” for Gonzalez’s safety and wellbeing, Maldonado said in the email. Anyone with information concerning Gonzalez’s location should contact SPD, Maldonado said.
