Syracuse will play a 16 match slate in 2018, six of which include matchups against 2017 NCAA tournament teams.

The Orange enter the year unranked and will face seven teams listed on the pre-season United Soccer Coaches poll.

Last season, SU finished with an unexpected 6-8-4 (0-6-2 Atlantic Coast). It went winless in the ACC for the first time since joining in 2013. The Orange’s season ended with a penalty kick loss to Clemson in the first round of the ACC tournament.

Ian McIntyre will start his 9th year as head coach on the West Coast with games against Oregon State (Aug. 24) and Portland (Aug. 26). Then, Syracuse takes on Hofstra in its home opener on Sept. 2.

ACC play kicks off on Friday, Sept. 7 against No. 17 Notre Dame. The regular season concludes against Boston College on Oct. 26. The ACC tournament’s first round is scheduled for Oct. 31.
