Riley Dixon finished his Syracuse career averaging 43.7 yards per punt. He earned All-ACC honors on Wednesday.

Punter Riley Dixon and wide receiver Brisly Estime earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors on Wednesday, the ACC announced in a release. Quarterback Eric Dungey received votes for both rookie of the year and offensive rookie of the year, but finished fifth and fourth, respectively.

Dixon was voted onto the second team by the coaches, narrowly losing by two points to Alex Kinal (19 points). The Syracuse punter finished first on the press’ All-ACC team just more than a week ago, while Kinal finished second. Dixon averaged 43.7 yards per punt this season with a long of 64 yards. Eighteen of his punts went at least 50 yards. He was also one of 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation’s top punter, but didn’t make the list of three finalists.

Estime was voted to the honorable mention team with 12 points. One of his biggest contributions came in the return game. He racked up 18.1 yards per return, good for second in the country and first in the ACC. He was the first SU player since 1997 to return two punts for touchdowns in a season. His two scores came in the season opener against Rhode Island and on Oct. 31 against Florida State.
