Syracuse will play 4 Power 5 opponents in nonconference slate

Syracuse will play four Power 5 opponents, including Tennessee, Maryland, Washington and Arizona State, in its nonconference slate.
“This non-conference schedule provides us with tough contests against top teams from major conferences,” head coach Quentin Hillsman said in a release. “It will certainly prepare us for ACC action and postseason play.”
The Orange’s slate includes the South Point Shootout in Las Vegas, where SU will play Washington at 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 27 and in-state opponent Fordham at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. In the Big Ten/Atlantic Coast Conference challenge, SU drew Maryland on Dec. 2.
