Tickets to see Billy Joel at the Carrier Dome in March will now be available to Syracuse University students at a discounted price.

In an email sent Friday afternoon to the SU student body, the Carrier Dome Box Office announced that SU students can purchase tickets for the March show for $19.50, starting Friday at 5 p.m.

The $19.50 tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and an SUID is required when purchasing the tickets at the Carrier Dome Box Office. The specially-priced tickets are also available on Ticketmaster.

Joel will perform at the Carrier Dome for a record setting seventh time on March 20. Previous tickets were priced at $59.50 and $89.50 before fees. The show is presented by AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of the Los Angeles-based AEG.

Some of Joel’s most well-known songs include “Piano Man,” “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” “Only the Good Die Young” and “Uptown Girl.”
