Pita El Saha expected to be replaced by frozen yogurt chain
After 10 years on Marshall Street, Mediterranean cuisine restaurant Pita El Saha is expected to close and be replaced with the frozen yogurt chain Yogurt Crazy.
Discussion of the closure of Pita El Saha, located at 137 Marshall St., began on social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter late Wednesday night.
A picture posted by Yogurt Crazy on its Facebook page shows the exterior of Pita El Saha with several coming soon advertisements for the frozen yogurt store and the caption ‘Get ready Syracuse University!’
The company also lists Syracuse as a location that will be coming soon on its website.
Yogurt Crazy is a self-serve frozen yogurt chain that currently operates four locations in Long Island. The business is family-owned and operated and offers a selection of 12 or more low-fat flavors daily, according to its website.
An employee of Pita El Saha contacted late Wednesday night would neither confirm nor deny that the restaurant is going out of business.
