DPS investigating early-morning South campus robberies
The Syracuse University Department of Public Safety is investigating two burglaries on South Campus accomplished through unlocked front doors Thursday morning.
The separate incidents occurred at apartments on the 300 and 400 blocks of Chinook Drive, according to DPS email sent to students. Electronics and personal property was stolen, according to the email.
The email provided a description of a suspect as a male of unknown race and unknown age, approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a white hooded sweatshirt and a red hat or head scarf.
DPS could not be reached for comment.
