UU books Snoop act
Snoop Dogg signed contracts on Friday afternoon sealing his appearance at University Union’s Block Party.
‘Now that we’ve gotten everything legally done, its great to come in and tell everyone and see the expression on their faces,’ said Sherlen Archibald, co-chair of University Union Concerts.
Tickets go on sale today in the Schine Box Office as well as the Carrier Dome Box Office for $10 for Syracuse University and State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences students.
Tickets also go on sale to the general public on Ticketmaster.com for $20.
Snoop’s appearance will be a whole new experience for many students who haven’t been at a concert with a celebrity of Snoop’s caliber. Even people who don’t know Snoop Dogg’s music know who he is, said Archibald, a Snoop fan who particularly likes his first album, ‘Doggystyle.’
‘People are getting ready for this Block Party already. They’re going to make it a real block party,’ Archibald said.
