Orange drops 2 matches
The Syracuse tennis team was successful in doubles play this weekend in its two matches against Princeton and Cornell, but its singles play ultimately led to two disappointing losses.
The Orange lost, 5-2, to Princeton on Friday. It lost to Cornell, 4-3, on Sunday. The Orange won two of three doubles matches against the Tigers and three of three against Cornell. But SU lost five of six singles matches against Princeton and four of six against Cornell.
The Orange fell to 7-3, 3-0 in the Big East. Its next game is March 4 at Army.
